This 20'W x 10'L x 8'-2"H four walled DEA Storage Cage with a ceiling is compliant with all in-plant regulations for the secure physical storage of Class III, IV, and V controlled substances as outlined in Section 1301:72 of the Code. Ideal for not only law enforcement, but for private industry distributors, wholesalers, and drug manufactures: basically anywhere controlled substances or contraband needs to be properly stored.

DEA-standard narcotics and pharmaceutical security cages can be modified to meet nearly any existing storage facility requirements.

These partitions can be configured for floor-to-ceiling reach. This allows them to meet DEA mandated secure pharmaceutical storage standards.

Cages can be cut and modified on-site to work around pipes, conduit, and other obstructions near and around facility ceilings.

DEA Storage Cages can help solve many of the special problems for drug manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers face when it comes to regulations or in-plant security of Scheduled III, IV, and V controlled substances.

Doors are self-closing and self-locking. When installed, all hardware should be brazed, pinned or tack-welded in place for compliance; Universal construction allows door installation left or right, inside or outside; Sliding door must be installed on 12" wide minimum cage wall for full 6' opening capability
Partitions are assembled with durable 3/8" hardware
Hardware is not accessible from the exterior

Panels install horizontally between 14-gauge tubular posts. They are steel wire woven into 2" x 1" rectangular mesh and securely welded to a 1¼" x 1¼" x 3/16" steel angle frame
Walls have minimum 1-1/2" horizontal reinforcement at least every 60 inches and the panels are mounted flush to the floor
Listed dimensions reflect exterior size; enclosed dimensions are slightly smaller
Standard footplates are 2" x 7". They extend outside the post by 2½" per corner post position depending on footplate orientation. They will slightly increase overall dimensions
If you are in a seismic zone, or your floor is not smooth or even, a larger footplate may be required

4-sided structure: Four-wall wire enclosure unit is freestanding and can be utilized anywhere in a facility to provide a secure enclosure. You can place them virtually anywhere that has a suitable floor and space. Cages are mounted flush to the floor and the mounting hardware is permanently fixed.
